Space has always inspired humanity to imagine what lies beyond. SUPERNOVA encourages students to challenge conventions, solve meaningful problems, and build technologies that can shape the future.
Supernova 2026 is East India's premier national space hackathon and free 30-hour innovation challenge for college students. Organized by UEMK Space Observatory, it begins with online idea submission and culminates in a 30-hour offline Grand Finale at IIT Kharagpur Research Park, New Town, Kolkata. Teams can build projects across AI and machine learning, robotics, satellite technology, Earth observation, aerospace software, IoT, astronomy, climate technology, and open innovation.
